Knitting Cat Art Print

Knitting is a charming small square art print featuring a black cat sitting comfortably in a chair, happily working on a red knitting project. A little coffee setup sits nearby, while the blue-and-cream patterned backdrop, sunny clock and cosy rug give the scene a wonderfully homely, slightly nostalgic feel.

Created by UK artist Sally Welchman (Moggshop), this playful illustration captures one of those quiet everyday moments that feels instantly familiar — a cup of something warm, a knitting project and nowhere else to be.

At approximately 148 × 148 mm (6 × 6 inches), this little square print is an easy addition to a shelf, craft corner, reading nook or gallery wall. Its soft blue, cream and red palette also makes it easy to style alongside other colourful artwork and collected pieces. The artwork is titled “Knitting” in Sally’s own handwritten lettering, with her signature included at the bottom of the print.
